as the subject tells; this machine crashed while an update to jaunty. now i have the problem that i can't upgrade, un- or reinstall dkms, which of course implicates thet i can't finish the update nor install anything else.
does anyone has an idea or a hint how to remove a package 'by foot' with rm and vi? i already tried apt, dpkg, aptitude, everything. when i try to remove, the process stops with the output 'Removing all DKMS Modules' i allready tried to remove the modules with rm; nothing helps. idea, anyone?
