Sorry, this question has probably been asked a million times, but when upgrading from 8.04 to 8.10, will my Home folder, installed applications etc. be kept, or will it delete them?

Edit: Also, may as well kill two pheasants with one shotgun, anyone seen a really good deal on broadband? Changing from Tiscali, because although we are getting quite a good deal, I am fed up with their rubbish customer support, so anyone know of a good deal with a good provider? Must have unlimited downloads, by the way. Thanks.

The contents of your $HOME folder will be preserved, so you needn't fret.

That said, I feel obligated to issue the standard disclaimer: backup important files before performing an upgrade.
