Hey guys,

I wanted to create partitions for music/documents etc seperate from both my linux and windows installs but was wondering what those partitions should be formatted in so that both windows and linux can use them and share files.

format them either Fat or NTFS. You will be able to mount them thru ubuntu and be able to read/write and when you go to windows via dual boot windows too will see them as just another drive as usual.
