I want to learn XNA really bad, because I like the interface and the C# language. Both seem to be tied down to Microsoft and I don't really like Windows much. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find anything in Linux easy when it comes to game design as XNA is. That's why I'm wondering, is porting XNA games to Ubuntu using Mono a chore or even possible?

There's http://code.google.com/p/monoxna/ but I can't vouch for how well it works
