I still have no thesaurus or spell-checker for my OpenOffice 2.4.1, on Ubuntu 8.04. The procedure should be a simple one, something I've carried out on my desktop through several versions of Ubuntu. For instance, I have no problem with the thesaurus or spellcheck on 9.04.
However the netbook remix version does not seem to work. I've gne through the procedure several times, and still end up with the dictionaries (apparently) marked as present in the /Tools/options/language settings menu, but not actually functioning. The Thesaurus, for instance, is greyed out.
Does anyone have any suggestions about this?
