Hi All,

Got my Lenovo S12 and trying to install UNR on it, i used the windows gui image writer to build a usb stick containing ubuntu-9.04-netbook-remix-i386. Now after i get through the partitioner etc(which takes a ridiculous amount of time). I answer all the questions and then starts to copy, after about 30 seconds the copy progress bar just disappears and there is no you have installed ubuntu successfully (and considering it has to copy a gig i would have though it would have taken longer).

If i then reboot it just goes straight into XP. I have tried installing it twice and all i seem to get for my effort is an extra 2.5gb partition and it looks to have made a real mess of my partition table. The reason i bought this particular model is that the wiki said "works very well"

Went in trashed all the new partitions and reran the installer, all i can say is now "works very well". Awesome don't have to use XP!!
