I am a total noob when it comes to Ubuntu.
But I bought a new PC and I decided to have Ubuntu 9.04 in addition to Windows.
A month later I forgot my original administrator password and had to reset it ( and I did)
I also no longer have a wired internet connection, but only wireless (I had to install a 802.11n PCI card in my desktop).
So after I finally managed to log into Ubuntu I was asked for the wireless password which I entered. But then it got really confusing (for a noob).
I started getting a pop-up to "enter password for default keyring to work" in regard to NetworkManager Applet.

What am I supposed to do? Which password is it?:confused::confused:

I have found some explanations but they are to complicated for my level of understanding of Ubuntu.

Apologies for my noobness, but I really want to give Ubuntu a go and this is stopping me in my tracks.:(

enter password for default keyring = enter your login password

just enter your login password only (don't have to key in user id, just the password only)

I hope the answer is not too late.
Or I hope you got problem solved already.
