Big thanks to the writers and contributors of the Wiki and all those who are helping out us noobs in these forums. Just installed a HP SC1410 printer/scanner/copier and my Ubuntu setup is complete. I'm not really all that demanding of my computer but with the help I've received I can access the Internet, write my letters, print and scan, send and receive email, play my DVD movies, play my audio CDs and FTP. In short, there's nothing that I could do in Windows that I can't do in Ubuntu Linux. Thanks everyone.
