Hello ALL

For the last few weeks I have had Ubuntu 9.04 32bit installed on my laptop (HP Pavilion dv7 - 2050ea) (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1236208&highlight=pi4r0n)and i twas perfectly fine unfortunately I have realised that I have made mistake and I installed 32 bit and I should have 64 one :D

32bit system was working perfectly fine, yesterday i backed all my files up and installed 64bit version and ](*,)gnome does not load any more. The only think I got is black background and mouse :(

I googled for some solution on that and found 2 posts on this forum (1 (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=6549) and 2 (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=831546)) but they did not have the aware I was looking for :(

For your informations I got ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 graphic card and it does support 64 bit systems so should be OK

Could someone point me to the right direction so I can see how to fix it.

Note: If you need any logs please let me know and I will provided them as soon as I am home (around 1800 GMT)

Cheers
