during installation I set my xubuntu to start up automatically, how do I get it to where I have to type in the password to get in? I want to change my window manager (I really don't know how to do that either, but I read somewhere that you change it before you log in to a session). Please give me some tips on how to do this stuff!

Just follow the screenshots.

1. System>Administration>Login Window.

2. Security Tab.

3. Uncheck the "Enable Automatic Login" box.

Then when you restart you will need your screen name and password.
