I am trying to install the "Acronis True Image Home 2009 Startup Recovery Manager" to the Grub list so that I don't have to wait through 2 (or even 3) boot options. I'd rather have all my boot options in GRUB for simplicity and speed.

I found the post (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=449167) that details how to do this with Acronis TI 10, but I cannot extract the "ramdisk.dat" from the 2009 boot disc that I created with the Acronis "Bootable Rescue Media Builder." When I run it in gunzip All I get in the terminal instance is about 10 minutes of scrolling random characters followed by an error.

I dual boot with 2 seperate sata drives, 1 with XP and 1 with Ubuntu 9.04 (I plan later to add a third sata drive with Win7 and hope to add that to GRUB as well).

Any ideas?
