Apples to Oranges

If you want OS X, run OS X.
If you want Ubuntu, run Ubuntu.

Mac4Lin just makes Ubuntu look different ... doesn't really change anything.

Where is the "I think Mac's are ugly and evil" option?

if you want OSX, run OSX.
if you want Ubuntu, run Ubuntu.

you can make Ubuntu look however you like, the theme is only as important as it is to you.

your question could be:

Lexus with a standard interior
vs
Porche with a custom Lexus-like interior that you like (leather, padded, digital spedomitor, whatever)

(Windows, in this case, would be a used golf cart - it is neither UNIX nor UNIX-like. OS X is UNIX, a 40 year old operating system. Ubuntu is Linux, a 20 year old UNIX-like operating system. If anyone cared enough, they could spend a bit of effort and money to certify Ubuntu as UNIX.)
