Hi,
I used to be able to boot the Ubuntu live CD in my system without any problems when it had a ATI Radeon X300 installed. Since then, I have upgraded to a Radeon 2900GT (for windows 7) and now I can't boot into the CD anymore. All I get is it trying to start GDM and some weird colours at the very top of my screen (covers maybe 5% of total space on screen). I figure this is an issue with X trying to start, but I am unsure of how to proceed with this. Is there anything I can add via command line to the boot in order for X to start, or am I SOL?
Thanks,
