That's the second-last single-player mission, I think. The one where you have to get down to the launch control centre to disable the ballistic missiles.

Also, it doesn't particularly look like Ubuntu. Just a generic Unix/Linux-esque desktop.

Hmm I'm not sure. That window border looks a lot like the Windows XP one, just orange instead of blue.

It's XP. Trebuchet MS is being used.

Good enough for their in game gag, not good enough to support for running their game.. I am a tiny bit offended really.

Heh, looks like XP, but orange.

generic terminals != ubuntu. Hell the decorations arn't even gnome like, the right hand screen is a a generic window manager, looks more like beos or something old than ubuntu (especially as last time i checked neither ubuntu nor gnome looked that orange or had suck xp like window deco)

if you want to see linux in films/tv, try heros (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&safe=off&um=1&ei=hPigSt79LZT5-AbvvtHMDw&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=kde+on+heroes&spell=1&start=0) or the nmap movies (http://nmap.org/movies.html) section (seams to be down atm)

Isn't the center screen a simulator for the Apollo guidance computer? I know I just saw a screenshot like that somewhere on the darn internet. ... Maybe I am mistaken.

Edit: No, it's not. But I know I just saw something like that in the last week or so. ... Hmm. ... :-k

That almost looks like it could be the map editor... which would be funny. I don't think it's Ubuntu, though.

Just looks like a generic desktop that happens to have orange window borders, not necessarily intended to look like Ubuntu.
