Moderators - How do you become one?

I've been a moderator on several Bulletin Boards and just wondered how you became one on Ubuntu? It would be a really nice thing to be and indirectly, you are doing something for UBuntu...:)

Moderators are invited here by the Admin staff. There is no application process.

Essentially, regular contributors who have a sensible approach to the forum are generally noticed and then invited in a biannual selection process.
