I decided to upgrade fomr 8.10 t0 9.4 and i must admit that 9.4 is a bit faster with the start up and the menus open a bit faster and some programs do launch faster but the nvidia drivers have been a real issue with me. I currently have a Gforce 6600 graphics card and i tried to install driver185.18.36 but the graphics is still choppy, i even tried to use an old driver that worked on 8.10 180.22 but neither seem to work and now i get this erro when ever i try to install or remove drivers /usr/lib/nvidia/libglx.so.xserver-xorg-core (no such file or directory )

not sure what this means or how to go about fixing it. If anybody can help it would be great.

did you happen to make a restore as you could possibly replace the x.org dir into your new install...basically try and re-install older driver and update from there.
