Is there a program that I can put into startup that shows the time in two or more countries?

Have you tried editing your locations on the clock (in the panel) to include other areas of the world?

apt-cache search world clock
kdeartwork-misc - various multimedia goodies released with KDE 4
gworldclock - Displays time and date in specified time zones
plasma-widget-worldclock - A world clock plasmoid based on Marble
twclock - Clock program for hamradio operators
tzwatch - Displays time and date in specified time zones on console
xtide-data - Harmonics data for xtide

The easiest solution is coldReactive's answer.

Exactly, with the sophistication like this (see attached screen shot), we hardly need to look for applications outside. In windows I used to download such applications. Here I don't need to. Just add locations after clicking the time on system tray, and there you go !!

Sweet - I should've looked up this forum first. I downloaded gworldclock without knowing I already had this feature .

Thanks.
