shiretoko and xulrunner updates

I have shiretoko (firefox 3.5) installed and each day there seems to be an update of several associated packages, such as xulrunner. There is no documentation, on what has changed and version numbers dont change either. How can I stop these useless update notifications in Jaunty?

I don´t know if they are useless but if you want to stop updates in synaptic>find packages you don´t want to update>click on them>package tab>lock version.

May be you are using the mozilla daily build PPA. Nevertheless, if changelog is included you can view the changelog in synaptic or with the command
aptitude changelog <package-name>
