Hello!

I'd be pleased of somebody could help me with a problem I'm having with my PC loading Ubuntu 9.04 Live CD. It boots only if I choose 'safe graphics mode' first. Is it possible to work out this once booted in LiveCD session? Will it write that change once I clic on desktop the LiveCD Install icon.

Not choosing 'safe graphics mode' leads the system to a black screen on booting progress bar stage once it fills it from left to right (completely).

My PC specifications are:

Intel Core2Quad Q9300@2,5 GHz (not overclocked)
Asus P5Q Deluxe
2 Gb RAM
Nvidia GForce 9600GT - 512Mb RAM
HD 350 GB SATA
HD 350 GB ATA
Asus DRW-1608P DVD-ROM Device
TFT HP w2207h

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

/Francesc F/

When you decide to install, you will have to hit F4 at the boot options screen and install it. Ubuntu will have to download a driver for your graphics card.
