Mount Desktop Images

Ok i am having a problem, i am running Ubuntu Gnome Desktop. Yesterday i install Ubuntu Studio and now my Drive Images are not Showing up on my Desktop, the other odd thing is when i insert a dvd it auto plays, but i can only hear the sound no video comes up, until i open a movie player but the audio from when i first insert the disk still plays on loop.

Any Help
