I have done some reading on installing antivirus on Ubuntu. I know that AVG offer a viable solution, but I was interested in installing CA etrust Antivirus. I know that CA support Suse Linux and their forum provides installation instructions. I was wondering if anyone had tried the install on Ubuntu? Or has anyone ever installed CA etrust Antivirus on this platform?

Probably not many. ClamAV works great and is in Synaptic Package Manager.

You can find out more in the security link in my signature.

ClamAV works great.

Thanks for the Response, I realize that there are probably just as good, if not better products out there. We have deployed a Integrated Threat Management Server and provide product licensing through this avenue. I was hoping to try a platform comparison of sorts.

Thanks again...
