ok i installed ubuntu 8.04 and when i got finished it can display a desktop and seems to work alright except compiz will not start and i tried installing fglrx ubuntu does not see its there so then i ran aticonfig --initial --input=/etc/X11/xorg.conf it gives me an error about it needing a driver line has anyone had this with this card and how did you solve it my ubuntu achine has no internet connection right now if that helps
