qt example wont run on qemu

I have qemu running ubuntu 9.0.4. I have installed qt embedded 4.5 (manual src compile only)

I tried running sample qt applications like calculator or analogclock and get the following error,

./calculator: symbol lookup error: /opt/qt/lib/libQtGui.so.4: undefined symbol: (nothing here)

Can anyone through some light on this, please?
