I've tried to upgrade from 40gb drive to 200gb in windows xp using Norton Ghost to copy the drive, but it didnt work.
Is there a Linux equivalent programme to copy the hdd, so I dont have to reinstall operating system. I dont expect it to copy windows.

Thanks

here's one http://clonezilla.org/

keep in mind many have ways of moving home partitions or entire hard drives without use of extra software.

Thanks Inobe,
Ghost did copy the drive, but I cant boot from the cloned drive, after disconnecting the original. Is this because I need a recovery disc?
Can Clonezilla be used on xp ?
