Hey guys. I just went ahead and installed 9.04 last night. I have been goofing off with the live CD for a couple of weeks and feel confident that I can use Ubuntu 9.04 along side Windows Vista in a dual boot configuration.

My question is pretty simple I guess. I want to increase the size of the partition I have installed 9.04 on to so as to increase the amount of applications and such I can download and use. During the install process I accidentally left the partition size too small and now I can't update or even get the restricted formats package installed. A little help from the "pro's" would be awesome! :)

Just a few suggestions...
1. Use Vista if you want to resize the Windows partition. Once done with that reboot to Vista and do a chkdsk and a defrag.
2. Pop the Ubuntu livecd in and reboot to it.
2a. Open the Partition Editor (System>Administration), choose the Ubuntu partition and click "Resize/Move". Adjust to your hearts content.
