Hi everyone, great forum you have here.

I'm hoping for a little advice please if anyone can help maybe?

My long suffering Brother set up my Mobile broadband for me but I cant keep asking him for help. I'm using Hardy Heron having tried Jaunty but it really didn't get on with my mobile broadband dongle set up (ZTE MF627).

I'll try and list whats wrong and hopefully it'll be easy to read that way :)

1) Using an old version of Firefox (Firefox/3.0b5) and on certain web sites, just hovering over a link makes it crash. Trying to sign in to my Ebay account is a good example.

2)My internet hangs really badly most times I use it, I wait and wait and then it simply sparks back into life again. All sites are affected so i'm sure its at my end.

If there's a better Dongle I could use then i'll certainly be willing to give that a go but I am on a 2 year contract with 3 so i'm pretty tied in with them for a while.

Incidentally, I asked them about the issues i've been having and they wont even go there unless its a windows OS.

I appreciate your time with this guys, not my thing really although I wish it was sometimes.

Cheers then, Shaun :)
