View Full Version : (pygame) how to load sounds/images for use instead of drawing Rect's?

ive progressed to the point where im ready to use image files to represent as stuff on the screen instead of just plain rectangles i can move about

where am i supposed to put the .png and .mid/.wav files for pygame to load them?

thanks, i hope this isnt too much of a simple question (cant find answers anywhere)

EDIT: sorry, figured it out, they have to be in the same place as the .py file im using :p

They can be anywhere if you use the full path.
