Hi!

Dragos240 here again. Someone in one of my topics about the server asked me how many topics about the server I was going to make. He had a point. I will now post the updates about the server's status on my blog located below:

Ok. Update for the forum, the server is UP! On hamachi:
Network: Dragos240
Pass: lokalhost

User: ubuntuforums
Pass: ubuntu
Port: 45
IP: 5.239.37.83
I have added 2 things:
Xorg through ssh, and
an easter egg.

Try it. Have fun. You are limited to your own folder, and is recommended that you create a sub-home for yourself. You are limited to 50 processes. Latest kernel updates.

I'd write a script that continuously writes to disk until your hard disk ran out of space & your system comes to a halt.

Also, If I run 50 processes which allocate large amounts of memory, that'll bring your system down as well.

I have an idea on how to prevent the first, user quotas. But not the second....

Also, hamachi is acting up, it's down for now.

Well.... it's definitely up.... but nobody is going on, it's sunday, 2 days before the estimate. The server is up. Anyone want to come on in??

The website is up just fine but can't connect through ssh. Did you make sure to open port 45 on your router?

Whatever just happened it's up now. Don't know what was wrong before, might have been my end.

It wasn't. I set up hosts.deny to deny all sshd.

I fixed that.

Also find the easter egg. Lol. Also if you want you can run some X programs by:
ssh -X -p 45 ubuntuforums@24.34.53.70

Hi everyone,

it looks like avahi is back. Yep, he used the ftp server that I left on to post offensive messages inside the home folder. I have copied all of this as proof that it was he who did this. Also I have found his ip, as he was the last one to logon to this server, and I saw his actions posted on the ftp log. He had also posted frequent links to topics on the linsux forums. Honestly, there are just some people out there. Some people, who's existance is solely based on getting people angry. Does anyone know where I can report this guy on linsux? I don't beleive they support what he is doing in any way, shape or form.

He was banned on Linsux months ago. What could you possibly think Linsux would do about him? Feel sorry for you and cuddle all your problems away?

@dragos - Even if the person in question was indeed a member elsewhere then I don't see what could be done. Any issue you have with them is between you and them.

Yes, he shouldn't be a problem now, I traced his IP, and now he is blocked. I love /var/log
