I may be relocating to London but want your advice please

Hi there, after attending a three hour interview yesterday in London (Willesdon) which went well I thought, I find myself now thinking about where to move to if the position is offered. Many of you live in and around the London area and I was hoping for some friendly advice from fellow ubuntu users.

I don't want to live in the same location I work and couldn't afford the rent anyway. I don't mind commuting for anything upto an hour each way.
Am looking for a nice suburb where my family and I have trees, greenery and a nice feel, oh and is safe. Sounds like an advert doesn't it.

If you can give some good advice I would be very grateful indeed.

this is why I moved from Chicago to Ft Worth, Tx. Chicago's high crime rate and the rent was getting more expensive. Good Luck on the offer!

Yeah good point - and I really like the motto at the end about trying and failure. . .it's brilliant.
