On Ubuntu 9.04 with GNOME 2.26.1, I would like to change the Titlebar colour from the default dark-brown w/ black text to a lighter shade of brown (or another light color) so that the text can be easily read.

Below are 2 screenshots where you cannot read the Titlebar Text claerly because of the dark brown background color.

I tried that.

I would like to change the dark brown titlebar for the current theme ("Bright") to a lighter background so that the text is readable.

Referring to this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=641071) thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=641071, I installed 'gnome-color-chooser' & it did the needful (simple point-and-click interface with a lot of options; did not have to edit any config files manually, as another user suggested in that thread).

The Titlebar now has a lighter colour and text can be seen clearly:
