Well, now it can officially happen. Not sure how I feel about this. Sun was screwy, but it was finally opening up a lot of stuff. I really doubt Oracle will continue in that tradition.

Well, we'll have to see how this goes, but I don't like major corporations acquiring each other.

I'm getting all hand-wringy about OpenOffice.org. Probably unnecessarily.

It's open source anyways, so it will keep going.

And if it dies, maybe more attention will be given to Abiword.
