s-vhs output on TP R40

Just installed jaunty on thinkpad R40 (retired work laptop). would like to utilize s-vhs output to tv for streaming videos, but tv not recognized. I'm guessing there is some configuration of the ati radeon 7500 to be done...but haven't a clue where to start. advice welcome.

Are you sure that your pc output is an output and your tv input is an input?

Next are you sure your TV is using the correct input

Are you sure the PC is actually using its output?
