I searched the forums however I didn't see anyone that had already asked this question. I have not attempted to try this first without asking because I didn't want to risk the possibility of corrupting my grub boot loader on my pc.... anyhow here is the question:
Is it possible to boot from a live cd (on dvd-rom 1) and do a full install to a 4.7 gig dvd-rw (on dvd-rw drive 2) for use on multi computers (home, work, friends, etc...) Yes I know I can just carry a live cd and use however everything is lost after a live session ends and I would like to keep files and downloaded programs not included on the live cd.
There we go, not a hard question... I'm sure someone has already tried this. I just didn't want to risk anything tinkering around :-)
