I have searched through Gnome-look and while i came across some themes i liked i have yet to find one that i want to use permanently. What i would like to do is learn how to make my own theme. By this i don't just mean going into appearances and mixing and matching themes and changing their colours. What i mean is i would like to figure out how to completely customise a theme. I would like to know how to change the actual scroll bar, buttons, etc. Is there any easy way to learn this or does anyone have any useful links? I have looked at folders and some of them have more in them that i can figure out what does what. Whats the best way to go about this?

i've wanted to create my own icon theme, but haven't located any in-depth tutorials for it, especially about creating the index or configure files to make the themes installable, second a reply to this
