Almost every third day one of the PPA's that I have in the repository list craps out and spits out signing key errors for several hours or even a few days. Sometimes that means ,for no apparent reason, I have to hunt down a new key. Other times, it means that the PPA is just down for a while, for no obvious reason and it might work again. The extra software is barely worth the hassle.

Just today, medibuntu was down, now up.
Slimdevices (for the slimserver) was down, now up again.
A repo that I did not note was down for about 45 minutes, now is up again.

You must have some serious bad luck, cause I think I've only come into that problem maybe twice in the four months i've been using ubuntu 9.04.
