Hi people

I'm looking into getting a laptop soon, and because it's for school work I may need some windows software (not sure yet, but its always good to be able to play age of empires at lunch, right?). I just got virtualbox working, so thought I might as well use it.

I seem to remember seeing someone use one of those window manager effects with the cube (the name escapes me), except one face of the cube was their virtualbox desktop. Is this possible? Or was it using a commercial product like VMware?

thanks,
Joe

PS this is the right forum isn't it?

I've not tried this but it should work if you enable the desktop effects to get the cube and then run a VirtualBox session in full screen on one of the workspaces. Cheers!

Yeah, you should do what he (^^) said. The default fullscreen command in virtualbox is <right control> plus letter F. You could also do seamless mode - right control plus L. Check it out if you haven't already (have to install virtualbox additions first though ;))
