HP laserjet 2100tn prints - after 10 minutes!

Hey all.

A friend has Ubuntu 8.04 installed and is glad it all works.

Though one problem: His HP Laserjet 2100TN does print - but after 10 minutes of waiting!? :(.

Do you have any idea of why?

I know it is an old printer - but it works....

How large are the files he's printing? If they are really big it could take awhile.

So big that every page printed takes 10 minutes?

Like 4 pages means 40 minutes?!

Woah, in that case its taking to long. My idea of big files was 40 pages of pictures or something.
