when i typed into google "why does ubuntu" google suggested "freeze", 500,000+ results.

whereas my last post showing a pic of all the results for vista was closed for bashing (which i understand) it raised a new question...

why does ubuntu slow, produced 2.9mil results
why does ubuntu suck, over 1mil results

why doesnt google list these as suggestions when i type in "why does ubuntu"? there are just as many people asking these questions as the other ones but there are no search suggestions for these

am i missing something? like how the search engines work?

p.s. ive checked, not all results lead back here ;)

thanks

or use this search engine instead

Google before starting a thread: yes. No need to ask questions when someone could have answered that question before. Some Ubuntu users could do the same, but I guess asking a question is easier then finding a solution yourself..

Often I find answers from non-Ubuntu sites, where the same solution applies. Had problems with my sound a while back, Gentoo wiki solved the problem for me.

it may be that "why does vista" is asked many more times than "why does ubuntu". "why does minix" produces nothing.

I google and then don't start a thread because every single problem I have had so far was not solved in these forums. I'm not complaining, I love these forums. I'm just unlucky it seems.

Don't you love posting lmgtfy.com links to those who don't? :P

Actually, I use the Ubuntu Forums pretty much exclusively to solve my problems. That, or well, my roommate from college whom used Macs/Linux exclusively his entire computing life. Learned a lot from him actually.

Yes. It usually finds the right answer for me. If not, then I post.

Also, if I type in
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? it shows 125,000,000 results!
