I was wondering how much a starter engineer gets paid in your country? i know the net salary (after taxes) might vary insane in most countries, but try to give an average of -the best- if you know some fresh engineers (or you if that is the case :) ) just write their salary.

in denmark you get paid net 16900 DKK (~2270 €) as a starter engineer (pretty much same in most companies)

On a per annum basis, starter engineers (professional, ~4/5 year degree) first year out typically get paid about $55,000 - $65,000 NZD, about 27000€ - 32000€. It definitely depends on who you know ;)

Starters get about €25000-€29000 netto on an anual base, depending on the sector you're in (other benefits like a car, laptop, gsm, health insurance excluded). Especially if you're in the oil processing sector you will probably receive a lot more.

500-1000 LVL / month ( equals to 1000-2000$ / month ). The situation here ( << ) is that .. no matter who you are and what you know, your salary will always depend on some hidden rules ( in many cases, programmer/engineer get's the same as housekeeper ).
