Earlier today I requested help switching my Ubuntu 8.04 server over from MSHOME workgroup to WORKGROUP = WORKGROUP.

So I changed the smb.conf to read Workgroup = Workgroup versus it's initial set up as Workgroup = MSHOME.

Later I check my putty log-on screen and found this error:
sh: /usr/share/samba/panic - action: Input/Output error.

After a search on line I was unable to determine what the solution was so I did a hard reboot expecting to clear the error up on reboot.

However, my computer will not reboot. On boot up the system is not seeing Drive C (sda) in the bios, The other two hard drives on secondary IDE channel and the CD on slave primary channel are showing in the bios.

Any suggestions on how to proceed from here???
