Hi to all !

I have downloaded Ubuntu 9.04 and tried it on my notebook that has AMD ATI X1100 chipset and it worked perfectly. Unfortunatley, that notebook died and I have to buy another one. This has C2D and GeeForce 9300m gs, now during the installation at one moment screen start to flicker and I cannot see anything from that moment.

How can I fix this ? I suppose that video driver or something is not correct but I don't know the steps to fix that.

Please someone help me, I really love Ubuntu and I wanto to have it on my notebook.

Thanx !

boot options (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BootOptions) scroll down to F4 - you want safe graphics mode

if that does not work try the alternate text based installer (http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/downloadmirrors#alternate)

Thank you very much for help !

Safe graphics mode did the job, and later when system was up installing geeforce drivers.
