XBOX 360 Running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS

Does anyone know if it's possible to boot up into Ubuntu on the Xbox 360 (sort of like Yellow Dog on the PS3) I've read a few things about it on Google but nothing definitive I was wondering if anyone has done it and if they could break it down for me I'm fairly technically inclined so you don't have to be simple with instructions if it's even possible at all. (or if anyone has installed any flavor of Linux on the 360 I know it was possible on the original Xbox)

I saw in Linux Format (An excellent magazine for Linux fans) in their "Install Linux on anything" issue about a year ago that the X360 is pretty well locked down. But things really change in a year, especially technology so maybe there's hope.
