So, is anyone using any video podcast software on Ubuntu? I read that there are several programs like that for Linux, like Kitty or KMPlayer, or PenguinTV. I got KMPlayer, but I haven't figured out how to subscribe to video podcasts.
Does anyone reccomend some other piece of software for that purpose?

hi, for subscribing to RSS feeds then downloading the files Liferea is supposed to be good. but, normally you use a separate program to play the downloads in like VLC or Mplayer or that backend thing for totem maybe it's called xine. maybe you're talking about something else though

i use Opera to subscribe to feeds, it only notifies when there's a new file to download then you can click on the download from within Opera. however, most other podcast software will start the download automatically.

Firefox has some plugins to for RSS feeds.

to subscribe to feeds you have to click on the orange tag on the page. or drag it to the podcast software, or maybe right-click the orange tag and get the address and put that in the software.

here's an address to a feed you could try putting into your podcast software. it's for diggnation. lol i can't find the orange tag though

I just came across this feed and thought I would throw in what I found, Miro seems to work pretty good if you are watching the videos on your pc. It's in synaptic too.

The only problem is that id doesn't seem to be able to put videos on an iPod, I use gPodder for that.

So what I have is Miro for watching my HiDef feeds (Totally Rad Show and Diggnation) and I use gPodder for ones that I will be putting on my iPod.
