Hi,

I have ubuntu insalled on my acer netbook. It is the first time I am using ubuntu/linux, been a mac user before.

I wonder if there are any useful screensavers? I have found the bionc app, but that does not show any interesting thing when the computer is idle, just use power. Which is ok, but I miss the old seti screensaver, which also was nice to look at.

What is there out there, and how do I find it?

The easiest place to try is gnome-look.org (http://gnome-look.org/?xcontentmode=187). I'm not sure they're the best, but they have some stuff. (if you're using kde, there's also a kde-look.org.) I hope that's at least a starting point for you.

I love that seti screensaver too.
