I really like SRS audio sandbox (closed source) in windows. Mac has perian (free).

Is there any software like that for ubuntu?

(Don't know if this thread is in correct section:confused:)

i looked for SRS audio sandbox on the WINE database but i guess noone has tried it yet, you could try downloading the SRS audio sandbox and using it with WINE but there are no guaruntees


Is there any software like that for ubuntu?

software? i thought it was just a media player for music, what does it do?

Its not a player! It reprocesses sound to make great output. Some LCD tv's have it's technology embedded.

I love the audio sandbox. I've been looking for 2 years for an alternative. It's like a driver so I doubt it would run in wine. It gets tied into the sound system, and wine isn't built for things like that.
