Hi all,

Is there a way to disable the minimize functionality when clicking a Gnome taskbar button? I think clicking the button should always only bring the application to the front.

With the current implementation, I find I sometimes am clicking multiple times to get the window on top of others (most often with the Pidgin Buddy List).

You could try adding the Window Selector Applet to the bottom Panel

I would like this too - anyone ever figure out how to do it?

This keeps on bugging me too. However I just recently re-enabled the minimize function.

If you are using Compiz, you can disable it for all windows with its "Window Rules" plugin:
- "System -> Preferences -> CompizConfig Settings Manager -> Window Management -> Window Rules"
- enter "any" into the field "Non minimizable windows"

Greetings.
