Hello to all, I managed to get Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop to work on my IBM Thinkpad 770Z, with sound, full screen video/desktop and wireless internet. The people who know this laptop, and have been strugling to make it work, will know that its not an easy task. Some never get it to work!

Okay here is the thing, I like to upload an Image of my install so that owners of Thinkpad 770Z don't have to go through all my trouble, but as a newbie to linux I dont know how to do that or where to upload it.

I have made an Image with CloneZilla and it can be restored with that, I have now made an .ISO file and a Zip file for those who like to try it.

The install works, but there is some minor glitches that people can solve themselves: When rebooting the system sometimes hangs, when shutting down I get system halted after everything is shut down, My NEC USB 2.0 PCMCIA card don't function as it should.
These things are minor and have no real influence on the working install.

I'm sure that people with greater knowledge than me about linux/ubuntu can solve this:)

So anyone have an Idea for this:)

With kind regards

JBJ
