View Full Version : [ubuntu] I don't want to install Ubuntu on my HDD, but keep files on liveUSB?

I have a 2GB liveUSB of Jaunty. But because my laptop has 50GB of vista + files that would be insane to back up, I cannot install Ubuntu on my laptop.

So can I just plug in Ubuntu and if I make changes to the desktop, download OO files, or alter settings, will it be saved in the remaining empty space left in the USB? How do I save changes?

Thank you!
