Hello Ubuntu forum.

I'd like to know if there is a way the configuration the desktop for low resolution screen ? I'm working on an old laptop, with a max 800 x 600 resolution. Everything works fine but I find the text and the icons too big (see attached screen shot).

I have already change the police size to the minimum.

Thank you for the support !

For the bar on the bottom, click the button on the right side. There should be an option in there. For Konqueror, use Firefox instead and get the classic compact theme.

System Settings > Appearance > Fonts will let you make fonts smaller.

Thanks you both of you for the reply.

I fact, I'm thinking about an overall parameter that may affect all size including the icon size.

According to my last research, I found something around the DPI. Not tried yet, has anybody tried this kind of modification ?
