Hi, is anyone able to tell me how to download wine (or a similar free program), then use it to install macromedia studio mx 2004?

Hi, you could try this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=200305) guide to install studio mx 2004. To install wine you can open a terminal (Applications>Accessories>Terminal) and type

sudo apt-get install wine
